We live. We love. We learn. There comes a time in every person’s life when the mirror no longer reflects who they used to be — not because of the scars, wrinkles, or even the gray strands of hair that appear, but because the soul itself has shifted. This is the metamorphosis of a human. We hear nothing. We see nothing. It is the unseen evolution that unfolds within us all. We are much like the caterpillar. As the caterpillar dissolves into a formless state inside its cocoon, we too must enter our own darkness. It is a natural phenomenon — a phase when we begin to question everything: our dreams, our beliefs, and our purpose in the world. The process is never graceful. It is messy. It is painful. It is the shedding of all that no longer serves who we are becoming. We are taught to fear change, to cling to comfort. But in truth, comfort is the cocoon — warm yet confining. Growth demands transformation, and transformation demands surrender. Metamorphosis does not happen in just one night ...
